Very nice indeed! I love pics like this with high contrast between the subject and background... another great example is when there's a break in the clouds during stormy weather, and you can catch something lit by the sun with a backdrop of dark clouds.
Thank you, yes that's what makes it special. It wasn't really as dark outside but the cat was lit by the warm light from the kitchen window, producing a lovely effect.
